Life always finds a way, as one guy discovered from his little homemade experiment. The world we live in is teeming with organisms, creatures, animals, and plants that all originated from single-cell organisms and have evolved into complex lifeforms. But how exactly does it all happen? Well, thanks to one curious man's DIY experiment, we can have a glimpse into that process.

"Last week, I scooped a jar of muddy water and weed out of a local pond, sealed it, and placed it on my north-facing window sill, in an experiment to create a sealed ecosphere. Let's have a look at some of the things I saw in there during the first week," the creator wrote on YouTube.
